Ian is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and member of the Financial Services Institute of Australia. He is also an accredited CA Forensic Accounting Specialist and CA Business Valuation Specialist. From 2021 to 2024, Ian served as a member of the national CA ANZ Forensic Accounting Committee.
Ian focuses on the provision of forensic services across a range of commercial, matrimonial, personal injury, insurance, insolvency and other disputes. He has provided expert evidence for numerous courts and also advises clients on a consultancy basis. His work frequently involves quantification of loss, business valuation and financial investigation for disputes involving parties ranging from individuals and SME’s to government departments and listed entities.
Ian’s prior roles include five years as the COO/GM and Joint Company Secretary of an ASX listed property trust as well as senior positions in international and ‘Big 4’ accounting firms in forensics, insolvency and business services. His prior experience enables him to draw upon a unique and extensive combination of accounting, finance, valuation, corporate governance, litigation and commercial skills when providing forensic services.
