Educated at King’s College London (MBBS, BSc), her strong foundation in medicine is augmented by advanced academic pursuits, including an MA in Politics, Philosophy & Economics of Health (UCL) and a PGCert in Healthcare Leadership, establishing her as a physician dedicated to systems governance and service improvement.

Her clinical career is marked by diverse, high-level training across renowned UK centers—including rotations in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia (Harefield), Major Trauma (The Royal London), and Quaternary Orthopaedics (Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital). This extensive background fuels her current expertise in managing high-risk patients for complex ENT/Head and Neck, and major orthopaedic/spinal surgeries.

Currently, Dr. Snoek serves as a Senior Staff Specialist at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane. Beyond the operating theatre, she is a fierce champion of Perioperative Medicine, leading the ANZCA DipPOM pathway and driving initiatives like Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols and the rollout of digital statewide dashboards for clinical networks. She is also a senior EMAC faculty member and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland, cementing her commitment to education, simulation, and advancing clinical quality.
